The first anniversary of the death of Fr Tony Coote, ADM will take place on Friday 28th August.
On the weekend of the 28th – 30th of August, we will remember Fr. Tony in many ways.
Fr Tony will be remembered at all masses over the weekend.
Bishop Eamonn Walsh will celebrate the 11.30am Mass on Sunday, 30th August.
A commemorative bench will be installed in the garden outside the parish office and Fr Tony’s family have been invited to visit the garden over the weekend.
A memorial plaque is being installed in the church and will be blessed at each mass.
A commemorative bookmark will be available for all parishioners and will be left at the church entrances throughout the weekend and afterward.
We also remind parishioners that the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association are asking people to do a 5K ‘Walk While You Can’ between August 28th and September 12th in memory of Fr. Tony.
We’re asking everyone to take a photo of their walk and email it to kilmacudparishoffice@gmail.com. so we can display them afterward in the church.
